Next week is half term here in the rain sodden post industrial second world nation of sanctuary that is Wales and I have promised the Mrs. and kids a few days away with me doing limited keyboard time. After what she endured from Paul Mathieson it is the least that I can offer. So help me out and be like reader A and win an almost free week at the Greek Hovel.
The prize is an off peak ( that is to say before May 1 or after September 15) week at the Greek Hovel. All you pay is a cleaning fee and if the pool is open ( it is from early April to November 1) a 50 Euro pool fee. As you can see HERE the Hovel is a glorious place.
To win you need to submit to tomat49@gmail.com an essay of 300-999 words on “I’d bet the ranch going short of….” You fill in the gap.
The company in question has to be UK listed (Main Market, AIM or AQSE) and its shares cannot already be suspended and the market cap must be in excess of £10 million.
I hope many of you will enter the contest and I shall publish entries every day . On Sunday 1 November we will have two lists and I shall ask you to vote on your favourite shorting idea on each list. The top two from each list will go into a final on Monday November 2 with the winner declared the next day.
I will do at least one bearcast each day during half term and some other articles but I am banking on you to help keep the Mrs happy and to supply some entries. Write early and write often!
